FDRS, hostpot, wildfire


Land and forest fires are disturbing both in terms of social and economic aspect, so we need an early warning detection system on forest and land fires to anticipate the spread of fire with high risk. BMKG has been applied fire detection system called FDRS (Fire Danger Rating System). Model FDRS is an information system to monitor the fire risk of forest vegetation and its products can be used to predict fire behavior and can be used as a guide for policy makers in developing measures to protect the life, property and the environment. This study was conducted to determine the model projections FDRS in the identification of potential fires in Riau Province in late April 2015. The projection models FDRS done with descriptive method where in spatial analysis and comparative will be done with hotspots and rainfall. Predictions in Riau province for 23 to April 26, 2015 is classified in safety from potential fire easily occur, but need to watch several locations on 23, 25, and 26 April 2015 although rainfall in the normally enters the highest rainfall and a low point value hotspot.
