Analisis Penyebab Tanah Longsor di Kabupaten Ponorogo (Studi : Dusun Tangkil, Desa Banaran, Kecaatan Pulung)

Abstract

Landslide occurred in Tangkil Sub-village, Banaran Village, Pulung Sub-district, Ponorogo Regency on April 1, 2017 caused 28 buried. This incident took place early in the morning when some local residents working in field. Crown cracks could be seen on some days prior to the incident. Land use in the location used by the local residents for planting ginger has triggered the landslide. Structure of the land was fragile due to no more trees with strong roots functioning to hold soils from erosion. The affected location in Tangkil Sub-village, Banaran, Pulung has steep slopes. Meanwhile Banaran Village is dominated by less steep slopes which covers 870,29 hectares and steep slopes is 859,413 hectares. The steepest slope covers 44,85 hectares. Types of soils in Banaran Village are Alfisol and inceptisol that soil fertility level is good for agriculture, nevertheless it is prone to landslide if its structure is on steep slope.
